Arsenal’s midfielder Thomas Partey will not be able to help his country Ghana in the fight to try to win their fifth Africa Cup of Nations title.

Why Thomas Partey might miss in Ghana squad
The Gunners star has suffered a hamstring injury since October last year, an injury he picked up in training ahead of his team’s Champions League away game against Sevilla.
“This is the biggest injury he has had, the most important thing for me as a head coach and our association is to give him the support that he needs through this period. Withstanding his injury, he certainly would be in the squad.” Said Chris Hughton, Black Stars head coach.
West Ham United midfielder who is also Ex Ajax player Mohammed Kudus completed a 27_man squad for Chris Hughton’s side alongside Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, Leicester defender Daniel Amartey and Brighton Hove Albion forward Tariq Lamptey who is also Blues former player.
Black Stars captain Andre Ayew, who is currently playing for League 1 club Le Havre, is ready to feature for the four times Afcon champions.
Former Chelsea player Baba Rahman who is currently at PAOK as a left-back, and is unfortunately not included in the Ghana national team after he said that he wants to concentrate on his club form. Sporting CP winger Abdul Fatawu, who was also sent on loan at Leicester City, is also not included.
