Liverpool fans have breathed a sigh of relief after the Anfield club recorded a dramatic comeback against Fulham on Sunday, December 3.
The first 80 minutes into the game seemed daunting for Jurgen Klopp’s men as they went down 3-2 against Fulham.
Liverpool was twice pegged back in the first half, with Alexander-Arnold’s exquisite free-kick opener cancelled out by Wilson before Tete levelled on the stroke of half-time after Mac Allister had put Liverpool back in front with another great strike.
Fulham gets Liverpool by the neck
Fulham then got their noses in front for the first time with 10 minutes to play, De Cordova-Reid powering a header home to put the visitors on the verge of a shock away win.
However, the Reds launched a spectacular comeback that turned the heat up on league leaders Arsenal after two late goals.
The Sun reported that Trent Alexander-Arnold netted an 88th-minute winner as Liverpool beat Fulham 4-3.
Race to Premier League summit
Liverpool moved (at 31 points) within two points of leaders Arsenal (33 points) at the Premier League summit. They have both played 14 games with Arsenal winning 10 against Liverpool’s 9 games.
Fulham (with 15 points) remains just eight points above the bottom three having played 14 games, won 4, drawn 3 and lost 7. They will look to bounce back when they host Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, December 6.
Liverpool will travel to take on struggling Sheffield United on the same day, in a race to unseat Arsenal who will be travelling to Villa Park to defend their race on Tuesday, December 5.
