Kenya Rugby team Shujaa will be wearing a new jersey front-sponsored by Chukua Selfie limited.
According to Kenya Rugby Union website, the sponsorship deal will run for the last four legs of the 2018/2019 World Rugby Sevens Series season.
The Union further noted that the deal is to the tune of 14 million Kenya shillings.
Chukua Selfie Brand representative Eric Achola urged Shujaa’s squad to act responsibly in representing the brand.
“We chose rugby because it is widely followed by our target audience, we want to remind all the young men that even as they have fun they need to do so responsibly.” said Achola.
The newly elected KRU Chairman Oduor Gangla lauded the sponsorship saying it will enable the union meet the needs of Shujaa.
“This sponsorship is timely, and it will enable us meet priority needs for Shujaa as they take on the world this season. We are also aware of the importance of promoting self-testing for both our players and fans. This is why we gladly accepted this partnership,” said Oduor.
Shujaa will represent the Country in the Hong Kong, Singapore, London and Paris 7s legs of the HSBC World Sevens Series.
