The Gunners hammered Solskerjar men 2-0 at the Emirates on Sunday, with the visitors falling back to fifth place, 2 points behind Arsenal.
A 12 minute shoot from Granit Xakha placed Emery’s men ahead of the visitors.
The Gunners took the lead throughout the first half, with the Red Devils struggle for an equaliser veined.
The second half started at a higher notch with United forcing a 50/50 lead, but the 69′ minute score by Aubemeyang neutralised their steam.
Arsenal are now 14 points behind league leaders Manchester City, who are ahead with 74 points.
Elsewhere, Liverpool beat Burnley 4-2 securing their Premier League campaign to one point behind City.
Chelsea drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton at Stamford Bridge dropping to 6th position with 57 points.
Meanwhile on Saturday, Tottenham lost 2-1 to Southampton.
