You have worked hard for eight
years to get this far; your effort blended with preparation,
diligence, sacrifice, zeal and consistent learning is about to pay
off. Give it your best shot for the future of Kenya depends on your
creativity and commitment. ~twit from DP’s twitter account.

Over one million candidates across
the country have this morning (Tuesday) begun their three-day KCPE
exams.

The first papers today are
mathematics and English for the morning session and later in the
afternoon, they will be writing their English composition.

Education Cabinet Secretary George
Magoha assured the country that the government had set aside extra
resources, including helicopters, to ensure the examination papers
get to the centers safely and on time.

Teachers Service Commission CEO
Nancy Macharia is among education officials distributing the papers
in various examination centers.
