A petroleum tanker headed for Nairobi was on nabbed on Thika Road for transporting kilos of bhang.
Kasarani OCPD Peter Kimani said the bhang worth Ksh 8million
was packed in 50kg units and the perpetrators concealed it in a compartment in the fuel tanker.
Authorities identified the number plates on the tanker
as fake adding that the bhang was set for distribution in Kasarani, Juja, Githurai, and other parts of the capital.
The driver and his companion were arrested for questioning.
