Steve Ngoje is a 23-year-old undergraduate engineering
student in his final semester.
He plans to use the money to further his education
and help pay her sister’s tuition fees.
“I am very happy to have won a million shillings at this
stage of my life…. I am going to enroll for a Master’s program in electrical engineering
as soon as I get my results to further my studies. The money will also go a
long way in advancing my young sister’s university education.”
Ngoje comes from Kamagambo in Migori County and is the fourth
born in a family of five children.
Safricom rolled out the Shukrani Kochokocho promotion this year, as a means of reaching out and thanking its audience.
