As Coronavirus continues to terrorize countries across the
world, the Covid-19 has landed in Kenya. A Kenyan woman who travelled from the
US through London has been isolated in Kenyatta National Hospital after testing positive for the virus.

The Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has urged Kenyans
to remain calm, and avoid misusing social media to cause panic. He stated that
the patient is in stable condition and the ministry has been in contact with
everyone that the woman met.

Italy is the latest country to have experienced the wrath of
Coronavirus with the entire country being on lockdown. Cases in the US have
increased. A Hollywood actor and top government officials of various countries
have self-quarantined themselves to prevent the spread of the virus.

So far, the Kenyan government has set up isolation centres in
major hospitals, including Mbagathi, Kenyatta National Hospital, and Moi
Teaching and Referral Hospital. County hospitals are also preparing for the
Coronavirus outbreak.

The ministry of health has suspended huge gatherings,
including church crusades, public gathering meetings, and events in an effort
to curb the spread of the virus. Schools will remain open but inter school
games have been canceled and prison visits have also been suspended for the
next 30days.
