The death toll resulting from Coronavirus has risen to 97
people in China, even as 200 residents of Georgia in United Stated are being
monitored by doctors.
According to Fox News, health officials from Georgia
said on Tuesday that the 200 hundred people recently returned from China after
the outbreak of the disease.
However, the monitory recorded no symptoms of the disease,
since the residents had not visited Hubei province — the epicenter of the
outbreak.

reportedly didn’t use the word quarantine, instead, phrasing it that people are
being isolated in their homes for 14 days, which is considered the virus’s
incubation period, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A new paper
by Chinese scientists says the period could be as long as 24 days.., writes

Health officials are notifying residents about the virus and
its symptoms, telling them the importance of staying at home and avoiding to
travel during quarantine.
Those under isolation were issued with online tools that
shows them when the isolation time is on and up.
As at Wednesday, commercial flights have been suspended
between Atlanta and China.
The US government has confirmed 13 cases of the coronavirus
in six states, which has affected about 393 people in 24 countries across the
world.
The coronavirus outbreak was first reported back in December
at Wuhan City and 99 percent of cases reported still remain in China.
About 97 people were reported dead-from the virus on
Wednesday, increasing the total to 1,113 in mainland China.
The country remains closed off from the rest of the world
and some 60 million people remain under virtual quarantine.
In Japan, 39 new cases of coronavirus were reported on
cruise ship.
