Teacher Peter Mokaya Tabichi is trending for all the right
reasons.
He is a teacher who beat all odds at the Global Teacher Prize Ceremony
and emerged at the top among 10 finalists.
Tabichi joined Twitter in February, 2019 around the same
time he made it on the list of top contestants for the prize.
He has over

Tabichi is a member of the Franciscan Brothers who teaches
Mathematics and Physics at Keriko Mixed Day Secondary School.
He won the Global
Teacher Pize for his efforts in helping needy students and transforming the
society around him.
The Varkey recognized his resilience in improving lives in
a hardship area with limited resources. He has done a good job introducing
science clubs in the school that has led to them winning national science contests
beating giant schools.

Teacher Tabichi has a smart appearance. He looks sharp and
dresses to impress. Receiving the award in Dubai, he showed up with a robe that
made it clear he belonged to a church group, that is, the Franciscan brothers.
