Sharon and Melon DNA samples were taken for test on Friday to
shed light on the one-week mystery that the two are twin daughters of Rosemary.
In an interview with Citizen TV, the two girls promised to
love each other no matter the test results.
They said that there is no doubt
that they were born of the same womb, adding that they always behave, like and
dislike the same things in their lives despite being raised by different families.
“We like and dislike the same food…we even speak the same things out at the same time!” said Melon Lutenyo.
They also testified that their boyfriends are namesake(have the same name), dispite living in different places and unknown to each other.
Their mother, Rosemary, promised to love all the three girls and maintain the two family ties no matter the results of the test.
Melon’s parents are Richard Olukhakha and Rosemary Onyango from
Furfural Village alias Fafaro as villagers pronounce it while the woman Sharon
has been living with and know to be her mother is Angelina Omina.
Sharon went to a primary school in Nairobi before joining
Shikoti Girls in kakamega County for
high school education.
Studying in western region led her to finding her
alleged twin sister Melon born to Richard and Rosemary.
She added that it is through the aid of social media site facebook that she identified Melon.
“I came across her on facebook and I thought someone had hacked my account.” Sharon explains how she first came to know about Melon.
