DIB Bank Kenya has entered into a partnership with NMC
Fertility Kenya Limited, a move that is aimed at financing individuals seeking
fertility services.
Speaking on Tuesday, during the signing of an MOU between
the two companies, DIB Bank Chief Executive Officer Peter Makau said the
partnership will enable couples seeking fertility services to easily access high
quality IVF services.
“The new product that will be financed through Commodity
Murabaha by DIB Bank Kenya is aimed at meeting the financing needs of families
seeking to access IVF services,” said the CEO.
NMC Fertility Kenya Limited Vice President – Strategy and
Business Mr. Atul Dureja said the financing option with DIB Bank Kenya will
reduce financial constraints as well as improve the experience of fertility
patients by making highly effective treatment affordable to more patients.
“This integration of medical and financial transparency will
allow patients plan for a course of treatment that is personalized, without
worrying about the need for financing. While the cost for treatment for
fertility services such as in vitro fertilisation is usually high, the
partnership with DIB Bank Kenya has improved access to the services.” said
Dureja.

The NMC Fertility Kenya Limited has its clinic, Fertility
Point, located in Upperhill, Hospital Road, Fortis Suites on the Ground Floor.
The services offered by NMC fertility IVF Clinic include Reproduction
and Embryology, which the partnership seeks to help salaried employees access by
financing them from a minimum of KES 100,000 to a maximum of KES 1,000,000.
