Floyd Mayweather finally hanged his fighting gloves after a flurry stunning cornering the 29 year old Cornor McGregor at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 27th August 2017.

Mayweather, 40, Jr in a black trunk started on a low note, while Conor McGregor in a white trunk was in full control of the of the first four rounds of the fight with fears moves on Floyd. 

Floyd made a first meaningful move in the fight in the 6th round and fully took over in the 8th round.

McGregor was obviously tired in the 9th round and looked like he has had enough of blows.

The fight was finally stopped in the 10th round when McGregor was cornered on to the ropes with a series of of rights and lefts. His face was completely bloodied. He was about to fall through the ropes when the referee stepped in to stop the fight with 1:55 minutes remaining in the round.

This was a 50_0 win record for the Mechigan USA born Mayweather. The typical defensive fighter finally call it a farewell in a thrilling fashion in what he clarified was his last fight. This us after being in professional boxing since 1996. 

'It is all about skills and being composed for Floyd not speed and power' said McGregor after the fight.

'I gave the fans what they wanted to see' Floyd after the fight.
